Ofsted
Each local authority had a Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND) inspection by Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission(CQC). This is separate to social care inspections, and school Ofsted inspections.
Inspectors looked at how local areas meet their responsibilities to children and young people (from birth to age 25) who have special educational needs or disabilities (or both).
Kent County Council was inspected in 2019. Ofsted and the CQC carried out a re-inspection in September 2022
